DR. NIKKI MIDTLYNG PT, DPT
Physical Therapist
Certified Pilates Instructor
Owner
I am an experienced outpatient physical therapist specializing in orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation, with a strong focus on Pilates-based movement for both fitness and recovery. My STOTT Pilates Certification and advanced training with leading Pilates rehabilitation experts in the U.S. and Canada allow me to integrate precise, safe, and effective Pilates techniques into my treatment plans. I am passionate about teaching Pilates as a lifelong tool for strength, mobility, and wellness, and I love helping clients discover how it can transform both performance and daily movement.
My early work in acute care deepened my understanding of the full patient journey, and my years overseeing therapy and fitness programs have strengthened my ability to motivate and support clients as they work toward their goals. Above all, I believe in a holistic, movement-centered approach that empowers every patient to feel and function at their best.
I was born and raised in Salt Lake City, UT, and moved to the Bay Area in 2002 to attend Saint Mary’s College, where I earned my B.A. in 2006. I completed my Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Samuel Merritt University in 2011. My interest in physical therapy grew through collegiate soccer and my work as an athletic trainer with Saint Mary’s men’s basketball and football teams. Outside the clinic, I enjoy an active, outdoor lifestyle with my family and deeply value the physical and mental benefits of staying healthy and moving well.
